BTS’s “ARIRANG” Sells Over 4 Million Copies In 3 Days — New Record In K-Pop History

The group BTS dominated the Hanteo Chart weekly chart for the third week of March. They set a record in K-pop history by selling more than 4 million copies in just three days.

Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart, announced the weekly chart for the third week of March 2026 at 10 a.m. on the 23rd. According to this, BTS topped both the World Chart and Album Chart for the third week of March.

On the weekly World Chart, BTS earned the honor of first place. They scored high in both album and digital sales, achieving a World Index of 23,226.79 points. IVE came in second with a World Index of 10,587.83 points, followed by Choi Yena in third place with 9,960.42 points.

BTS also shined on the weekly Album Chart. Their fifth full-length album, ARIRANG, recorded an album index of 6,372,629.00 points (4,006,610 copies sold) in the third week of March. Released last Friday, BTS topped the weekly album chart in just three days by selling over 4 million copies, marking a career-high in album sales.

Ranking second on the weekly Album Chart was All(H)Ours’ fifth mini-album NO DOUBT with an album index of 97,189.20 points (80,991 copies sold). In third place was CORTIS’s first mini-album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, with an album index of 66,703.27 points (48,968 copies sold).

The chart aggregation period for Hanteo Chart’s third week of March was from the 16th to the 22nd. The World Chart is compiled and announced based on global data of K-pop artists, including albums, digital sales, certifications, social media, and media.
