The three members who have already been decided — former Dream Academy contestants Lexie, Emily, and Samara — recently shared a few short teasers of tracks “We Ride” and “Party B4 The Party” created for World Scout: The Final Piece. The survival show will decide the fourth and final member of the group.

What caught fans off guard wasn’t just the sound. It was the fact that members Lexie, Samara, and Emily appear to have taken part in producing the songs themselves. That detail quickly became the focus online. particularly among fans of their sister group KATSEYE.

Many were surprised that PRELUDE seems to have creative input this early, while KATSEYE’s discography has not shown the same level of member involvement. The HYBE x Geffen girl group’s discography has often drawn backlash for songs like “Gnarly” and “Internet Girl.”

As a result, many fans questioned why one group is given more freedom, while the other appears more controlled. Others went further, suggesting KATSEYE was treated more like a test project rather than a fully developed artist group.

At the same time, a few fans pointed out that PRELUDE hasn’t officially debuted yet, and things could still change. Still, the teaser has done its job… It’s got everyone talking!
