New Girl Group Announces Their Disbandment

It’s over.

A girl group that debuted less than a year ago will be saying farewell to their fans soon.

Ajisai wa Furanai is a 3-member J-Pop idol group that made their stage debut on April 26, 2025. One of their original members, Karasawa Hikari, was fired last August, due to an unspecified violation of the company’s regulations.  Two other members, Naka Alice and Koga Miyu, left the group on good terms in December 2025.

On March 3, 2026, the group announced that they would disband after their first anniversary live on April 10, 2026, at Gotanda BLAZE in Tokyo. The group’s management expressed regret for the sudden timing of the news, noting that the decision came after deep reflection. Moreover, they emphasized that the members and staff had poured their hearts into creating moments possible only with this group, crediting fans’ unwavering voices for making the journey possible at all.

Sadly, they aren’t the only group that has decided to disband this year.
