Beloved Idol Vanishes, Now Looking For Work As A Barista
While there are numerous routes to stardom, not everyone will reach the same level of superstardom.
In fact, more often than not, idols are left no better off financially, or even worse off, after their music career begins, leading them to take on additional work, either to support themselves or as a complete career change.
Former Idol Ha Joo Yeon Reveals She Now Works At A Café For $8 An Hour
Recently, a former idol was spotted years after her entertainment career making an unexpected update.
In 2020, the survival show Youth With You 2 aired, showed the selection process for the girl group The9.

As with all survival show, some contestants who do not win, but make an impression earn the hearts of fans. One such contestant was Sharon Wang, who made it to the final episode, but just missed the final line-up, coming in 12th.

After the show ended, the star worked on a solo career, acting in the series Love O’Clock and releasing a single titled “Baby Go.”
She disappeared for a period of time, but is now known to be living in Australia, where she is seeking work as a barista. In a post in a group on Facebook, she was seen seeking a job as a barista in Melbourne, posting that she had experience.
Sharon also posted on her Instagram story recently, showing her skills as her “resume.”

While her career might look different right now, Sharon appears to be happy and is still involved in music.
