Once-Promising 4th Gen Girl Group Loses Yet Another Member

This is not the first time.

A 4th generation K-Pop girl group, which has had a numerous number of lineup changes, has lost yet another member.

On the 14th, Vine Entertainment officially announced the expiration of Zuu’s exclusive contract, confirming her departure from Secret Number.

The agency stated, “Zuu’s exclusive contract as a member of Secret Number expired as of April 8, 2026.” They continued, “We sincerely thank Zuu for her dedicated activities for the fans. Although her activities as part of Secret Number are concluding, we wholeheartedly support Joo’s bright future.

Secret Number debuted in May 2020. Zuu joined the group in 2021, contributing to expanding the team’s spectrum. After about four and a half years together, Zuu will now seek a new path as an artist, separate from Secret Number.

Vine Entertainment also commented on the group’s future after Zuu’s departure. The agency said, “We will do our best to prepare Secret Number with a new image to show to the fans,” indicating that they will continue activities along with reorganizing the team.

Secret Number started out with 5 members and now, following numerous additions and departures, is left with 4 active members while 7 individuals have left the team over the years.
