“Spy” Gets Caught Pretending To Be An Idol In Celebrity Group Chat
SISTAR member Soyou shocked viewers by sharing her experience of catching a mole in a celebrity group chat.
On the 23rd, a video titled “Partners Who Make Me Anxious | On Air EP.62” was released on YouTube. In the video, Soyou, Kwak Beom, Kim Ji Yoo, pH-1, and Kim Won Hoon appeared and discussed various topics.
During the conversation about how they address each other, Kim Won Hoon called Soyou “You-ya,” causing Soyou to visibly flinch. She firmly expressed, “I really hate being called ‘You-ya.’”
Soyou then explained why she dislikes the nickname. She recalled, “There used to be a group chat for people born in 1991, and one member suddenly started speaking strangely. He kept calling me ‘You-ya.’”

She added, “I thought it was Mir (from MBLAQ), but he was actually a friend who usually called me ‘Bbangku Ddongku,’ so it felt even weirder.” Sensing something was off, she decided to confirm Mir’s real contact number separately.

It turned out that the person in the group chat was not Mir but someone else. Soyou explained, “Since it was a chatroom with other celebrities, I sent a private message saying let’s quietly leave without making a fuss.”
She also shared, “I’m not sure if it was due to a number change or linked accounts, but someone else had entered that chat room.” Kim Won Hoon was shocked and asked, “So that person had been reading the conversation all along?” To which Soyou replied, “Yes,” sending chills through everyone.

The incident later became a running joke, but Soyou admitted she still feels uncomfortable with the nickname “You-ya.” Kim Ji Yoo sympathized, saying, “That’s really scary.”
