HYBE’s Comments Towards BTS’s Jimin Sparks Major Backlash
HYBE‘s comments to BTS‘s Jimin, as revealed by the idol during a live broadcast, have sparked major backlash.
On April 29 (KST), Jimin, along with J-Hope and Suga (and V as a guest), did a special live broadcast for fans.
During the live, the members were speaking about Jimin’s iconic long hair, which he has been sporting.
Yet, netizens were shocked when it was revealed that everyone was against it, especially those at the company who told him to cut it. Jimin explained that his mom supported it, so he kept it.

When the video was posted, netizens hit back at HYBE and their choices, praising Jimin for sticking to his gut and keeping his long hair. Some even accused the company of trying to sabotage Jimin, wanting him to cut his hair because they knew it would make a huge impact and go viral, as it currently is.
