Girl Group Idol-Actress Unveils Beautiful Newlywed Home With Actor Husband

An idol-actress revealed her newlywed home with her actor husband and personally introduced the entire interior process.

On the 4th, Girls’ Day member and actress Sojin’s YouTube channel uploaded a video titled “Come Take a Look at My Home [Room Tour].”

As she toured the house where she lives with her husband, Sojin began the room tour by saying, “Rather than focusing on pretty furniture, the materials and construction process that form the structure of the house are more important.” She provided practical information to viewers by explaining in detail the interior elements chosen for each space—from the entrance to the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom—and the reasons behind those choices.

In the living room, a plywood finish was applied to one wall to create a warm atmosphere, and the layout was designed to connect the master bedroom and study, improving usability by dividing the spaces. She especially highlighted the curtains, which were selected in a mustard tone for their color and texture, calling them “a key element that enhances the room’s mood.”

Regarding the windows, Sojin emphasized soundproofing and insulation performance. She expressed satisfaction, saying, “When the windows are closed, outside noise is barely audible, making it very quiet,” and “the heating efficiency was great in winter, so the perceived temperature felt higher.” She also pointed out the advantage of a thin frame design, which maximizes the sense of openness indoors.

Floor materials were applied differently based on the area, using hardwood flooring and tiles. She explained, “Wood offers a soft texture, and tiles were not as cold as expected, making them effective for dividing spaces.” The kitchen features an island design and custom storage, and she chose a sink bowl that is easy to maintain.

The bathroom was divided into two concepts: one space with a warm yellow tone and another with a calm gray and black tone. Sojin mentioned that she compared most materials herself, including tiles, washbasins, and faucets before making selections.

In closing, Sojin stated, “Interior design isn’t just about creating pretty spaces, but about enhancing convenience and satisfaction in daily life,” adding, “I hope this will help those who are building a house or facing renovations.”
