Popular K-Pop Idol’s Weight-Related Visual Transformation Met With Harsh Reactions

In 2008, JYP Entertainment introduced a reality show called Hot Blood Men that showed the formation of a group called One Day.

The group was eventually split into two different groups: 2PM and 2AM.

While 2AM focused on a vocal group image, 2PM were known as “beast idols” as all of the members boasted muscular physiques.

2PM have recently been more active, performing anniversary concerts in Japan, with recently announced ones for Seoul.

The group also had a variety appearance, where changes to Nichkhun’s appearance attracted attention.

In the show, Nichkhun, appears to have gained weight, sporting fuller cheeks.

Netizens had some less than kind reactions to the visual changes the 37-year-old idol has gone through.

• “He’s probably the type who gains weight easily. When he was young he still worked out and had a fast metabolism, and when he started gaining weight in middle age he probably tried to fight it for a while, but now he’s completely let himself go…

Regardless of weight, Nichkhun is still handsome to us!
