On May 16, ENHYPEN were one of many groups that attended day one of the 2026 Asia Star Entertainer Awards. The group received several awards, including daesangs for “Artist Of The Year” and “Album Of The Year.”

Additionally, ENHYPEN performed four songs during the show, a mini-concert for those attending.

While this isn’t the group’s first performance without former member Heeseung, now known as EVAN, the song line-up included some songs only performed a few times with the group’s new line-up. This seemed to be the focus as many commented on the group’s performance of “Helium.”

See? What did I say before?
Those obviously autotuned high notes during the 4th tour and people still denied it. They bragged way too early now the backlash is hitting them, huh?

This is their real skill level.

Following the show, Jungwon did speak about the performance, saying that he messed up one of his parts and would work hard practice. He addressed it again during a live stream, saying that he would continue to work hard.

  • Ah seriously, the helium live totally flopped lol
  • I’ll do better
  • Sumimasen (Japanese for sorry)

Many discussed the group’s performance, praise their continued growth, while also discussing how it is inevitable that the songs will sound different, but not necessarily “bad.”
