BEAST’s Yang Yoseob thanks fans for birthday gifts

Happy Birthday to BEAST‘s Yang Yoseob! The singer, born in 1990, celebrated his 25th (26th in Korea) birthday on January 5, 2015!

In the days leading up to his birthday, Yoseob thanked fans for their birthday gifts through his official Instagram account. On January 2nd, Yoseob posted a picture of a present he received from one of his many fansites, Soulmate. He wrote in the photo’s caption, “Thank you..♡

On January 3rd, Yoseob followed up with another photo post to his Instagram. The picture was of a lighted balloon with black writing that said, “Yoseob-ah ♡ Happy Birthday.” He captioned the photo with a simple, “Pretty♡.”

Since his debut as a member of BEAST in 2009, Yoseob has showcased his talents as an artist through many avenues. In addition to holding the position of BEAST’s main vocalist, Yoseob released his first solo album in 2012 titled, “The First Collage.” With the title track, “Caffeine,” Yoseob demonstrated his vocal talents through winning first place awards on the Korean music shows.

Throughout the years, Yoseob has participated in both solo and collaboration OSTs. He is also known for his infamous “I don’t know~” in BEAST’s “Breath (Soom),” as well as his series of high notes in BEAST’s mega-hit, “Good Luck.”

Additionally, Yoseob served as a vocal coach and mentor on “The Voice Kids” in Korea, and became the youngest artist to hold the position. During the last five years, Yoseob has also demonstrated his talents through performing in live musicals in Korea, including “Gwanghwamun Sonata,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, “Zorro,” and most recently, “Robin Hood.”
