Big Hit Entertainment Responds To Threats Made Against BTS Jimin

“The agency is focused on providing all necessary means to guarantee the members’ and fans’ safety.”

While fans continue to grow more anxious about the threats made against BTS‘s Jimin, the group’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, responded with an official statement claiming everything is under control.

When an anonymous user posted a threat to attack Jimin during BTS’s concert in Fort Worth, Texas scheduled in September, the city and its law enforcement authorities began investigating the case.

To this, Big Hit Entertainment explained the agency is also aware of what is going on.

“The agency is aware of the death threat made against Jimin. Regardless, the agency is focused on providing all necessary means to guarantee the members’ and fans’ safety and will respond accordingly to any actions that threaten that.” — Big Hit Entertainment

The agency also stated, as this is not the first time Jimin has been threatened during his visit to the United States, that it is prepared for any situation.

“In the past, we have prepared thoroughly against the threat to attack Jimin. Nothing happened and everything went okay. We will continue to be vigilant and prepared.” — Big Hit Entertainment

With the Fort Worth Police investigating and the agency promising to keep safety a first priority, fans are trying to remain calm and indifferent to the threat so they can avoid causing panic and becoming entertaining to the threatener.

BTS will perform in Fort Worth, TX on September 15th and 16th as a part of the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF’.
