Netflix Variety Show “Busted!” Confirms It Will Be Back And Better Than Before With A 2nd Season
Netflix‘s first ever Korean variety show Busted! has been confirmed to be getting a second season.
Netflix announced today that they will continue to greet their viewers and bring them even more laughter than the first season.
“We have confirmed that due to the explosive response, both locally and abroad, we will produce a Season 2. We will greet the global viewers with both upgraded mystery and laughter.” — Netflix
Jang Hyuk Jae PD, who is also the CEO of the production company behind the show, thanked the viewers for all of their love and support.
“I am deeply grateful for all of the interest and love from viewers all around the world for ‘Busted!’ In Season 2, we will repay everyone’s expectations with a higher level of perfection and more laughter.” — Jang Hyuk Jae PD
Cho Hyo Jin PD also commented, expressing how glad he is to be able to produce another season, as he wants to experiment with something new.
Busted! was created by former Running Man PDs Cho Hyo Jin, Jang Hyuk Jae, and Kim Joo Hyung. The cast consisted of Yoo Jae Suk, Ahn Jae Wook, Kim Jong Min, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Min Young, EXO‘s Sehun, and gugudan‘s Sejeong. There are currently no updates about the cast for Season 2.
Busted! will release its final 2 episodes for Season 1 on June 1.
