These idols debuted in their early teens and grew up right before their fans’ eyes. Looking back on their debut days, it’s astounding to see just how much each of these stars has changed!

 

1. Jungkook (BTS) – September 1, 1997

Jungkook debuted with at the tender age of 15…

…and is now 21 years old. He is still just as adorable now as he was in 2013, but he has definitely matured!

 

2. Tzuyu (TWICE) – June 14, 1999

Tzuyu became a trainee at age 13 back in 2012, then debuted a few months after turning 16 in 2015.

She is now 19 years old and more beautiful than ever!

 

3. Dino (SEVENTEEN) – February 11, 1999

Dino was 16 years old when SEVENTEEN debuted in May 2015.

Now, he’s already 19!

 

4. Chaeyoung (TWICE) – April 23, 1999

Like Tzuyu, Chaeyoung debuted in TWICE when she was just 16 years old.

She is now 19 years old, but has the same angelic visuals!

 

5. Taemin (SHINee) – July 18, 1993

Taemin is one of the youngest idols to have ever made his debut. When SHINee dropped their first EP, Replay, in May 2018, Taemin was a month shy of his 15th birthday.

Now, at age 25, Taemin is a devastatingly handsome, young man!

 

6. Seohyun – June 28, 1991

It’s hard to believe that Girls’ Generation debuted 11 years ago! At the time, the group’s maknae, Seohyun, was only 16 years old.

Now Seohyun is 27, and proves year after year that her beauty is like her amazing vocals: timeless!

 

7. Zelo (B.A.P) – October 15, 1996

This talented rapper was 15 years old when B.A.P debuted on January 26, 2012.

These days, this soon-to-be 22 year old has ditched his debut blonde curls and gone with a chicer, mature look.

This queen of K-Pop is one of the youngest female idols to ever debut. When she entered the music world, she was just 13.

15-year-old Changmin was the youngest member to join TVXQ!.

At 30, he is now twice the age he started at, and continues to get more dashing with time.

 

10. Minzy (former 2NE1 member) – January 18, 1994

15-year-old Minzy took the K-Pop world by storm when she made her sensational debut in 2009.

She may no longer be a 2NE1 member, but this 24-year-old star still captures hearts with her mind-blowing talent.

 

11. Sanha (ASTRO) – March 21, 2000

Sanha was a month shy of his 16th birthday when ASTRO dropped their debut EP Spring Up on February 23, 2016.

This noona-killer is already 18 years old!

 

12. Ahn Sohee (former Wonder Girls member) – June 27, 1992

Ahn Sohee was known for her aegyo when she debuted at the age of 14. She eventually became a key visual in Wonder Girls, before deciding to leave the group.

Since leaving Wonder Girls, this 26 year old has appeared in a number of films and TV series.

 

13. Seungri (BIGBANG) – December 12, 1990

Seungri was only 15 years old when BIGBANG made their official debut on August 19, 2006.

Now, at age 27, he has decided to pursue his solo singing career and acting career before joining the rest of BIGBANG in the military.

 

14. Krystal [f(x)] – October 24, 1994

Krystal turned 15 just weeks after her group made their debut in September 2009.

Now Krystal is nearly 24, and has pursued modeling and acting in addition to singing.

 

15. IU – May 16, 1993

IU was only 15 when she released her first album in September 2008.

Now, at age 25, she is a 10-year veteran in the K-Pop industry and a global superstar.
