BTS’s J-Hope Has Broken One Of G-Dragon’s Solo Records

This achievement has proven his “legend” status all over again.

BTS‘s J-Hope has officially reached a new solo milestone!

J-Hope made his solo debut in March 2018 with his first mixtape, Hope World. The album debuted at No. 63 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 38. At the time, Hope World made J-Hope the highest charting solo Korean artist on the chart.

J-Hope’s solo songs have earned praise from critics and fans alike. Support for his work is still going strong, so strong that he recently dethroned BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon as Spotify’s #1 most followed Korean solo artist!

On April 7, J-Hope hit 1,341,112 subscribers, which is one more than G-Dragon had at the time.

Fans have congratulated J-Hope on this achievement, and they can’t wait to hear more of his solo tracks in the future!
