BLACKPINK Had Dinner With Ariana Grande’s Producer, Raising Speculation About BLACKPINK’s Next Comeback

Did somebody say collaboration?

BLACKPINK and Ariana Grande are some of the biggest female artists around the world right now, and have made their long-anticipated meeting for the first time at Coachella this year.

BLACKPINK has long been massive fans of Ariana Grande. Within their first year since debut, Jisoo even performed “Side to Side” when she started her role as MC for Inkigayo.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande replied to a fan earlier this year expressing how excited she was to see BLACKPINK perform at Coachella.

Ever since they first met, fans of both artists have been longing for a collaboration.

Considering both artists are known for their charismatic performances and expressive vocal tones, many fans believe that such a collaboration would be incredible.

And it looks like things may be possibly heading in that direction.

Recently, the BLACKPINK members met with Tommy Brown, an American record producer who has worked profusely with Ariana Grande, especially on her latest album Thank U, Next.

Meanwhile, Tommy Brown posted a photo of him and BLACKPINK in Seoul while enjoying some wine and dinner.

Tommy Brown has been involved in producing for all of Ariana Grande’s albums since Yours, Truly.

In particular, he has been accredited as a producer for Ariana Grande’s most recent hits, such as “Thank U, Next”, “7 Rings” and “Boyfriend”.

Fuelling the speculations was the fact that Ariana Grande commented heart emojis on the Instagram post.

Additionally, Scooter Braun also commented on the post, further raising speculation.

Tommy Brown even liked several comments asking for a BLACKPINK and Ariana Grande collaboration, showing that he was definitely open to the idea.

Many fans have been ecstatic over the meeting between BLACKPINK and Tommy Brown, and “#AriPink” was trending globally on Twitter.

Tommy Brown posted on his Instagram stories of the lavish dinner he had with BLACKPINK and their main producer Teddy Park, commenting that there was more than seventeen dishes.

The record producer even had to admit that the BLACKPINK members had a better appetite than him since he couldn’t eat anymore, even as more dishes were coming in. Regardless, he commended the chef for the delicious cuisine.

Fans are hopeful that the meeting between BLACKPINK, Teddy Park and Tommy Brown could potentially mean something special for BLACKPINK’s next comeback.

The record producer has worked with other artists including Fifth Harmony, showing that fans can expect him to showcase BLACKPINK’s charismatic image and talent.

While nothing has been said regarding a collaboration with Ariana Grande, both artists have shared in the past that they would definitely be open to it.

And that is definitely something that both BLACKPINK and Ariana Grande fans are highly anticipative of.
