Actor Kim Jung Tae Shares His Feelings After Liver Cancer Battle
Actor Kim Jung Tae made an appearance on the SBS Plus show Did You Eat? in which he discussed his liver cancer.
He was reunited with veteran actress Kim Su Mi, who played the role of his mother in the film Granny’s Got Talent. Kim Jung Tae told Kim Su Mi, who was worried about him as though she were his own mother, that he came from a family with a weak liver. He shared that the time of diagnosis, his recorded liver value was 30 times higher than healthy people.
Kim Jong Tae said that he began to appreciate the little things in his life while looking back at the past and revealed his gratitude toward his wife, who supported him through his illness, showing off one side of an inseparable couple.
Kim Jong Tae said when he was invited to have Kim Su Mi’s gukbap it felt as though his deceased mother was calling to him. Kim Su Mi comforted him and he shed tears that he had been holding back.
