To no one’s surprise, BTS has made history once again with their latest album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7”! UK’s Official Music Chart reported that the album achieved two great feats within the first week of album debut.
“MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” debuted at #1 album in the UK today, making it their 2nd album to rank #1 on its charts. BTS was the first Korean act to achieve #1 on the charts, and now they’re the first Korean act to have 2 albums rank #1. “MAP OF THE SOUL: Persona” hit #1 back in the summer of 2019.
“MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” has also officially become the fastest selling album in the UK for 2020 so far! The album charted 38,000 sales in its opening week, beating out legendary rapper Eminem‘s “Music To Be Murdered By”, which held the record for 36,000 units sold in its debut week.
