SEVENTEEN Cancels All Concert Tours And Reassures Fans In Message Regarding COVID-19

Their top priority is making sure everyone is staying safe.

Following the emergence of COVID-19, caused by coronavirus, it’s become a worldwide crisis. To lend a hand in possibly slowing the spread, SEVENTEEN have done their part by joining a global campaign to promote social distancing.

SEVENTEEN And NU’EST Debut Creative Way To Promote Social Distancing

In a message they’ve recently posted, the group has taken it even further by canceling concerts for the safety of fans. They began by explaining how tough a time everyone has been having and how they’ll be a source of support.

We are all going through a difficult time as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads worldwide. As we face this crisis together, it is our sincere hope to extend support for one another during this difficult time.

Sticking by their words and the vow they’ve taken as part of the social distancing campaign, they’ve chosen to cancel all of their concert tours around the world.

For the safety of many, we SEVENTEEN, have also canceled our Ode To You concerts in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Madrid, Paris, London, and Berlin for the time being.

Earlier in the day, they had even announced the cancellation of their sold-out Japanese dome tour for Tokyo, Seibu, Fukuoka, and Osaka as well.

Although the members were heartbroken they wouldn’t get to meet fans, safety was the top priority.

It’s sad that we won’t be able to meet our Carats worldwide, but we believe we can get through this together and meet again soon in good health!

Not only did they address fans, but they expressed thanks to everyone risking their lives by working on the front lines.

We’d like to thank all Carats for patiently waiting for us, and also to everyone who is working hard to ensure the safety of the people.

The group ended the message on a positive note by wishing that everyone would be cautious and wait until they can all be together once more:

Please take care of your health and don’t get sick until we meet again!
