Lee Sung Kyung Opens Up About Overcoming Her Past Traumas

She gave some great advice!

Lee Sung Kyung recently sat down with Star News for an interview! While discussing her experience filming for the second season of Dr. Romantic, Lee Sung Kyung revealed some personal trauma she’s experienced and how she was able to overcome it.

Since her character in the drama, Cha Eun Jae, experienced trauma after undergoing surgery, Lee Sung Kyung was asked whether she had dealt with personal trauma before.

Lee Sung Kyung answered the question with honesty and also gave great advice on how to conquer it.

I had traumas and difficulties, big and small, but now I’m getting through them well. Rather than being impatient or trying to overcome with my own strength, I think I was able to overcome it by taking a step back, putting it down, accepting it, and taking the direction of my thoughts comfortably. I am very lucky. I think it’s because the people around me, various situations, and my own energies fit well.
