Chanyeol, Kangnam, SISTAR, and more on “Star Golden Bell”
It has been reported by broadcast officials that numerous artists ranging from K-pop legends to idols and comedians to actors have been specially invited for filming of a special Lunar New Year’s episode of KBS2 variety program Star Golden Bell.
Special guests for the episode include EXO‘s Chanyeol, f(x)‘s Amber, TEEN TOP‘s Niel, M.I.B‘s Kangnam, comedians Lee Guk Joo and Park Sung Kwang, SISTAR, actresses Nam Bo Ra and Kang Byul, Park Hyo Joon, former Sechs Kies‘ Eun Ji Won and Jang Su Won, former H.O.T‘s Moon Hee Jun, g.o.d‘s Danny Ahn, and more.
While the original version of Star Golden Bell with celebrities ended its broadcast in 2010, KBS1 still airs Challenge! Golden Bell, which has a similar concept but invites school students to answer quiz questions.
In particular, the attendees on the lineup for the episode are all icons who are currently gaining much popularity through their activities on screen. The idol attendees are also those who are about to make a comeback, including EXO in the first half of 2015, Amber’s solo debut and Niel’s solo debut both on February 16th.
Hosted by Kim Gu Ra, Sung Si Kyung, and Lee Ji Yeon, filming is said to take place today (February 7th) and scheduled to air during the Lunar New Year holiday, around February 19th.
