G-Dragon joins YG Entertainment’s upcoming hip-hop group project
Following their first unit project with Lee Hi and Akdong Musician‘s Suhyun as HI SUHYUN, YG Entertainment is preparing to drop their next project in just a matter of days! On November 16th, YG Entertainment announced G-Dragon as the first member of the November 21st hip-hop unit in a new “Who’s Next” teaser, the engraved image of the artist taking its place on the first coin.
Many fans have speculated G-Dragon would be part of this new hip-hop project, who would also be joined by fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang, making the duo group GDYB group a reality. Prior to debuting in Big Bang, G-Dragon and Taeyang were originally supposed to debut as a duo as GDYB before its plans were scrapped.
On the other hand, others have predicted GD&TOP is making a return.
The first hip-hop unit project is set to debut on November 21st.
