Girls’ Generation, J.Y. Park, BIGBANG and more with most viewed K-Pop MVs in the world for April 2015
Billboard compiled a list of most viewed K-pop music videos in America as well as around the world. The list includes newer artists like Lim Kim along with veterans Jinusean and J.Y. Park.
Though BIGBANG released “Loser” and “Bae Bae” exactly at midnight on May 1st in accordance with KST, these music videos still fall under April releases in the States. Even with less than a day to rack in views, both “Loser” and “Bae Bae” ranked top five most viewed within America and the world.
Girls’ Generation ranked first in both America and the world’s top viewed K-pop videos, which continues SM Entertainment‘s first place streak in America. The previous SM artists to rank first in the States are SHINee‘s Jong Hyun, f(x)‘s Amber, and Red Velvet.
With many amazing releases in April, it is easy to see the top favorites amongst fans. The most viewed K-pop videos around the world in order of rank includes Girls’ Generation “Catch Me If You Can,” J.Y. Park “Who’s Your Mama?” BIGBANG “Loser,” BIGBANG “Bae Bae,” Jinusean “Tell Me One More Time,” Dalshabet “Joker,” Super Junior “I Wish,” Jimin Park “Hopeless Love,” Block B BASTARZ “Zero for Conduct,” and Lim Kim “Awoo.”
