Fans have gone ballistic after the personal information of the victim involved in Park Yoochun’s rape was released online.
On June 14th, fans called out their fellow fans to stop spreading the said information online after it was found that it was not the victim in the reports anyway.
The move was speculated to have been organised after fans found out that the reports of the said victim dropping her case against the singer and actor were false. In a bid to investigate the incident, fans have allegedly identified the victim and posted her personal information online. After verification by fellow fans, the claim was found to be untrue and eventually asked fellow fans to refrain from posting her information online.
Amidst the speculations, Yoochun’s management agency, C-JeS Entertainment asked the press and fans alike to refrain from spreading information based on unconfirmed sources. At the moment, the claim is still being investigated for authenticity and threatens any misrepresentation to be a form of defamation the spread of the rumours online as libel.
Park Yoochun is currently being investigated and accused of sexually assaulting a female in the bathroom of an adult entertainment establishment.
