Kim Soo Hyun and Park Hae Jin revealed as possible candidates for new MBC drama
Fans of Kim Soo Hyun, Park Hae Jin, and the popular webtoon Scholar Who Walks the Night (working translation) are elated at the news that the comic is currently being adapted for the brown screen for MBC.
On February 2nd (KST), Key East Entertainment’s subsidiary Contents K stated, “Recently, we have bought the rights for ‘Scholar Who Walks the Night’ and have proceeded with its production work. It will be adapted for an MBC drama scheduled to release its pilot episode in July.”
Although nothing has been confirmed, actors Park Hae Jin and Kim Soo Hyun have been rumored to be strong candidates as the lead male roles of the upcoming historical vampire drama. This highly aspired drama, originally from the popular webtoon released in 2012, is anticipated to be a Korean version of Twilight.
