Kolleen Park and Bada collaborate for “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return” OST
Music director Kolleen Park and musical diva Bada will come together for an OST collaboration project for fantasy animated musical, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return.
On January 22nd, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return said, “Kolleen Park and Bada are working together for Dorothy’s solo song ‘One Day’ performed at the end of the story.”
Kolleen Park, who is responsible for the directing of the OST, has already garnered much attention for her talent and charisma in the past through KBS variety show, Qualifications of Men as well as big scale musicals including, Chicago, The Last Empress, and Rent. Bada, who is forever remembered as the fairy idol of S.E.S in the 90s, has successfully achieved her career path through musical projects. Currently, the musical diva is playing the role of Scarlett O’Hara in musical Gone With The Wind, alongside actor Joo Jin Mo and Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun.
Kolleen Park mentioned, “This song seems to be accentuated more when sung in Korean. Most importantly, Bada’s voice fits perfectly with the song.” While, Bada expressed that it was her first time participating in an animation OST, “I am more than happy to be working with Korea’s best music director Kolleen Park. Also, this project is very valuable as it is something new that I have never tried before. I am glad that my voice and the song go well together. It would be nice if children could find their dreams and hopes through this song.”
Meanwhile, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return is a fantasy musical animation drawn to plant light and hopes in children’s hearts. The highly anticipated musical animation is set to release on February 12th.
