Nana’s Latest K-Drama Role Keeps Bisexual Orientation From Original Series

Although South Korea is known for being one of the most modern countries in the world in terms of technology, it’s still considered quite a conservative society.

And after watching the first episode of the Korean remake of hit American television series The Good Wife, viewers were shocked to see that tVN has stayed true to the original story and retaining a bisexual character. During a short scene from the series’ pilot, it was revealed that the character Kim Dan, played by After School‘s Nana, was indeed bisexual, as she was seen leaving her apartment while a naked woman lay in her bed.

Although many Koreans were surprised by the decision to keep the character’s sexuality intact, many international fans have praised the production staff for their progressive thinking.
