Netizens defend f(x)’s Amber as she apologizes for her past rude remarks
f(x)’s Amber has apologized on her personal Twitter for her recent statements towards Jay Park and Super Junior-M’s Henry.
The issue first began on the March 4th episode of Radio Star, on which Amber talked about her ideal type. She revealed, “I like a guy who looks cold and mean on the outside but is really cute when he smiles.”
When MC Kim Gura questioned, “Like Jay Park?“, Amber answered, “Jaebum oppa is a bit like a dirty punk. Sorry Jay.”
Later on, on the April 30th episode of Happy Together, Amber, who made an appearance alongside Henry, said, “People need to discover that you are trash,” jokingly. She went on to say, “I’d rather go through the gas chamber again than date Henry.”
In response, Amber tweeted on May 2nd, “There’s a lot of misunderstandings still, but I did say things I shouldn’t have a few times. I admit that I was wrong and would like to apologize. It didn’t come out the way I meant it to in my head. As an excuse, I usually mess around with people who are close to me but I don’t mean any harm.”
She also tweeted, “I love all those friends! I’ll be careful from now on! Promise!”
