17-Year-Old Girl Makes A Chilling Confession After Stabbing 3 Classmates

A 17-year-old high school student has been arrested for the stabbing of three of her classmates. The incident reportedly happened between classes, inside one of the classrooms.

At approximately 10:15 a.m. on May 21, the unnamed suspect allegedly used a knife to stab three female students from behind without warning. About 20 students were reportedly in the classroom at the time. Witnesses stated that the three victims, who were all seated at the time, were stabbed in their shoulders and backs.

A female staff member stepped in and disarmed the suspect after hearing noise coming from the classroom. Police were then called to the scene–Ozora High School, in Fukuyama, Japan–where they arrested the suspect.

While in custody at the Hiroshima Prefectural Police, the alleged stabber made a chilling confession. She admitted to committing the crime and told police, “I stabbed them because I wanted to kill someone.”

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries from the attack, and they are expected to recover as the investigation continues. Unfortunately, this was not the case for the victim of a similar stabbing that took place earlier this month.
