Barbie Hsu’s Husband, DJ Koo, Leaves Netizen In Tears After New Year’s Interaction At Her Grave

A netizen recently recounted meeting DJ Koo, the late actress Barbie Hsu‘s husband, while visiting her grave. DJ Koo, also known as CLON‘s Koo Jun Yeop, lost Barbie Hsu in February 2025 due to complications from pneumonia.

In the months following her passing, DJ Koo was often seen visiting her resting place, with some netizens reporting that they saw him nearly every day, rain or shine.

On January 3, a netizen shared their account of visiting Barbie Hsu’s resting place to pay her respects and running into DJ Koo, who was carrying a large bag of items, as she was leaving.  She greeted him and said in Korean that she was a fan of Barbie Hsu, and DJ Koo pointed to the tombstone of Barbie Hsu in response.

The OP said that he looked downcast and not in the mood to talk much. Out of concern, she didn’t immediately walk away, but watched from the bottom of the steps to observe from a distance. DJ Koo’s careful cleaning of the front and back of the tombstone brought tears to her eyes, and she chose to leave quietly.
