Last September, Song Yi reportedly unfollowed Bae Jing Ting, who had been caught up in his own dating rumors at the time. Bai’s onscreen chemistry and matching “couple” outfits with his The First Frost co-star, actress Zhang Ruo Nan, had eagle-eyed netizens wondering if these two were taking their onscreen romance into the real world.
Now, Song and Bae are reportedly trending on Weibo again, but this time the rumors say that the alleged ex-couple has reconciled. Speculation intensified after netizens began circulating what they considered an expanding collection of similarities linking the two stars. One of the most frequently cited examples involved outerwear from the fashion brand MASON PRINCE. Side-by-side images of the garments quickly gained traction online, with some supporters arguing that the resemblance was too striking to be coincidental.
Fans also noted that both celebrities had separately visited Shanghai’s Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, suggesting they had recently been at the same destination.
Additional claims pointed to appearances at what some believed to be the same gym, while matching face masks were presented as further support for the dating rumors.
However, many fans disputed several of these claims. Critics of the jacket comparisons argued that the pieces were not actually the same design.
Others questioned the gym-related evidence, noting differences in the layout and interior features shown in the photos, which suggested the images were taken at separate facilities.
Likewise, netizens reportedly pointed out that Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park is a well-known tourist attraction, making it unsurprising that both Bae and Song visited the site independently.
Neither Song Yi nor Bai Jing Ting has publicly commented on the latest wave of rumors.
