This is not the first time she has shared images of her messy room; previously, she stated she was sleeping on the floor because of the mess.

Her post about her room went viral with over 5 million views and hundreds of replies, including many that suggested cleaning services. Several cleaning agencies also reached out, offering their services.

However, Okonogi shared that she previously tried a cleaning service who was unable to help much, and even offered a 30 minute free extension. She also said that she just did not have enough room, and was thinking of moving soon anyways.
