Idol Apologizes And Cancels Fan Event After No One Shows Up
There are many different kinds of idols in other countries, but they are still referred to as “idol.” This includes the Japanese gravure idols, or glamour models, who primarily appear in photoshoots that learn more provocative.

This includes Minami Awa, a cosplayer and influencer who has also debuted as a gravure idol.

It was recently reported that Minami Awa was scheduled to hold a handshake event at a pachinko parlor on December 23, but the event was forced to be canceled when no one showed up. She shared an apology on her X account on a post that included a photo of herself and the empty venue.

Her post went viral and currently has over 23 million views.

Her responses to the situation appeared to be genuine, though some believe the act was a stunt in order to attract attention, which it definitely did. She also expressed appreciation for the attention that the post got, making it a good ending regardless of the situation.
