Thai actors Jeff Satur and Barcode Tinnasit star in a new Korean-Thai collaboration set to premiere this month. Wooju Bakery (also known as Wuju Bakery) is a 2026 Korean-Thai Boys’ Love (BL) sci-fi romance about a bakery owner and an alien prince who crash-lands his spaceship into the baker’s newly renovated bakery.

According to Jeff Satur’s agency, Studio On Saturn, Jeff filmed the project in 2023 “in the expectation that the relevant arrangements would be properly finalized through the usual process.” However, no final written agreement happened, and as such, Studio On Saturn hasn’t approved the release of the series or its promotional material.

Furthermore, the agency claims it was kept in the dark about the drama’s status and release plan, and knew no more about Wooju Bakery than fans did. A final cut of the series wasn’t given to the agency for review, and Jeff wasn’t paid. Studio On Saturn stated that they reached out through their lawyer on March 31, but the matter still hasn’t been resolved. Now, legal action has been taken to “protect the artist’s rights and interests and to seek appropriate clarification”.

Fans who have sided with Jeff and his agency are hoping he receives compensation for his work and that everything is put to rights soon.
