Legendary Disbanded Boy Group To Reunite In November 2025

Their agency made a surprise announcement.

An idol boy group will be reuniting for a special performance this winter, eight months after disbanding.

KAT-TUN was a Japanese boy band under Starto Entertainment that debuted in 2001. Between their debut and their disbandment 24 years later, the group underwent many lineup changes, ending as a trio. On February 12, 2025, the members announced that they would disband on March 31, 2025.

During the group’s last fan club livestream in March, member Nakamaru Yuichi said that KAT-TUN wanted to thank fans in person “once the date and place are sorted,” but no details were revealed at the time.

On August 7, Starto Entertainment made a surprise announcement: KAT-TUN is set to take the stage one last time as a trio for a special farewell performance. This concert, Break the KAT-TUN, will take place on November 8 at 5 p.m. at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, Japan.
