Girl Group In Chaos As Two Members Get Fired In One Week
Fans’ concerns for the fate of a girl group are reportedly growing, following the exit of not one but two members within days.

On November 12, imaginate suddenly announced that Asahina Madoka would be leaving Dress Code. Dress Code, a Japanese idol girl group, debuted in 2024. As a member of Dress Code, Madoka was also a member of imaginate‘s girl group collective HEROINES. Due to a “serious breach of contract” she withdrew from both Dress Code and HEROINES.

In their statement about Madoka’s exit, imaginate stated that Dress Code would continue on a five-member group with no changes to their schedule of future plans.
We deeply apologize to fans and related parties for this sudden announcement.
Dress Code will move forward with five members and continue to respond to everyone’s support with sincerity.

Two days later, however, imaginate has announced that another member, Miyazono Rena, is also leaving Dress Code after a major contract violation. This news comes less than two weeks before Dress Code’s one year anniversary on November 26.

According to the agency, Rena would immediately be leaving the group due to a serious breach of contract that has not been specified. On X, Rena confirmed her departure without revealing the nature of her contract violation.
