Popular Idol Gives Birth 3 Months After Announcing Marriage And Pregnancy

Former Nogizaka46‘s Sayuri Matsumura has successfully given birth!

Last December, Matsumura shared a photo shoot featuring her and her dogs on her social media account. The images featured the idol-actress in a pink dress, alongside the dogs dressed in matching formal wear. In the second image of the photoset, Matsumura announced that she would be getting married and had also “gained a precious life.”

Matsumura’s husband is reportedly a company employee several years her senior, working at a Tokyo-based firm.

On March 11, the idol-actress shared a video on her YouTube channel revealing the childbirth experience.

Throughout the video, Matsumura is shown dealing with contractions, being admitted to the hospital, and the actual moment she gave birth.

Matsumura debuted in 2012 as a first-generation member of Nogizaka46, a position she held until 2021. Since then, she has been active in her solo career as an actress.
