In their statement, PuriMon (which is short for Pretty☆Monster) said they came to their decision to disband after discussing it as a group. In total, PuriMon has been active in the Japanese entertainment industry for 12 years: 10 years under the name PuriMon and two years as Pretty☆Monster, before they changed their name and lineup.

Through their manager, Kuroki, PuriMon thanked their steadfast fans who supported them through all their happy moments and frustrations. They wanted to end their time together without regrets and with their fans by their side. On behalf of the members, Manager Kuroki asked fans for their continued support and stated that details about the next chapter of the members’ careers will be released in a future statement.
