“I Don’t Let Him Touch Me” — Jaded Actress Tells All About Her Unhappy Marriage

An actress who married a man 15 years her junior is opening up about her marriage eight years after tying the knot.

Suzanne Hsiao Shu Shen (also known as Kitty Hsiao) is a 49-year-old Taiwanese actress. When she was 41 years old, she married her then 26-year-old husband, Eagle Liang, in 2017, after discovering she was pregnant. She suffered a miscarriage at four months, followed by four more miscarriages. Unfortunately, those losses aren’t the only difficulties she has faced in her marriage.

In a recent interview, Hsiao opened up about Liang’s infidelity, saying, “He’s cheated several times.” She grew up in a home where her father cheated, and her mother overlooked his infidelity. “I’m used to it,” the actress confessed, “I’ve seen this kind of behavior since I was little. My dad was the same. I’ve come to believe men are just like that.” 

For the past four years–half of their marriage–Hsiao and her husband have been distant. Liang has repeatedly refused to divorce, claiming he still loves her. Hsiao said that Liang has some good qualities, such as being attentive to her when she was battling duodenal cancer in 2020, but she isn’t interested in rekindling their romance.

The actress has prepared her will, leaving nothing to Liang. Two-thirds of her property will go to her mother, and one-third will be left to her father.
