Male Idol’s Uncomfortable Encounter With A Woman Goes Viral
A clip of a star’s interaction with a persistent fan–and an equally persistent staff member–was recently captured on camera.
Xiao Zhan (also known as Sean Xiao), is a Chinese actor, singer, and former member of the boy group X Nine. After entering the entertainment industry through the idol survival show X-Fire and subsequently debuting in X Nine, Xiao achieved breakthrough success as an actor in the 2019 series The Untamed. He has since gone on to star in series and films such as The Youth Memories and Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants.
On September 28, Xiao attended the Greater Bay Area Film Concert at Galaxy Arena in Macau, China. A woman approached him while he was seated in the audience to request an autograph that Xiao repeatedly declined. Despite his polite refusals, the woman continued to push for a signature. Throughout the exchange, Xiao stayed calm, cool, and collected.
The video captured the reactions of nearby celebrities, including Hong Kong singer Joey Yung…
…before a staff member swooped in and moved the woman away from Xiao’s table.
The clip reportedly went viral on Chinese social media soon after the incident and earned Xiao plenty of praise from fans. Watch it here:
At the Greater Bay Area Film & Music Gala, someone came up to Xiao Zhan’s table asking for an autograph. Zhan Zhan remained polite and patient as he declined several times, knowing that if he signed once, many others would quickly follow.
