Famous Influencer Falsely Accuses Boss Of Sexual Harassment To Break Her Contract
An influencer and content creator with 33 million followers has been ordered to compensate her former boss after losing a lawsuit.

Liu, who goes by the name Xiaohuijun online, is famous on Chinese social media for her high-caliber cosplay content. In 2020, she released damning videos about Sun Haoyu, the owner of her agency Qinhuangdao Chidu Entertainment.

She accused Sun of sexually harassing her during online chats and making her sign documents against her will.

You think I am hyping things up? I am 22 years old and I am a virgin. I will never do this kind of thing to ruin my innocence.

On April 19, Sun, who denied the accusations, announced that he had won the lawsuit he filed against Liu after the court found that Liu had fabricated her sexual harassment allegations. According to Sun, Liu has been ordered to pay him 600,000 yuan (about $82,515 USD) for compensation, plus an additional 60,000 yuan (about $8,251 USD) to cover the legal expenses he incurred during the lawsuit.

Two-thirds of my staff quit the company. It is difficult for me to sign other bloggers. My parents and I are suffering online violence, even receiving a death threat.

Liu, who has been banned from social media, must also publicly apologize to Sun within six months through a national media outlet.
