Celebrity Couple Breaks Up After Idol-Actress Shoots 99 Kiss Scenes In 10 Days

A rising actress is making headlines for both her professional life and her personal life, following her breakup with a fellow actor.

Xu Ziyin (also known as Roada Xu) is a Chinese singer and actress under T Entertainment. As a teenager, she passed auditions for JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and Cube Entertainment, but she never officially signed on as a trainee. She competed on the survival audition shows Youth With You 2 and Girls Planet 999, and she debuted as a soloist in 2021.

In addition to singing, Xu is a rising star in China’s fast-paced short drama industry. In particular, she went viral for filming 99 kiss scenes in just 10 days. Her on-screen kisses have now led to her real-life breakup with her boyfriend, short drama actor Li Yun Peng.

Xu confirmed that she and Li have broken up, and that her romance roles contributed to it. Though Xu sees kiss scenes as just a part of her job, Li–who initiated the breakup–struggled to cope, and she respected his decision to end their relationship.

Li has also confirmed their breakup. In a livestream, he told fans, “She’s not my girlfriend anymore – your news is a bit out of date! I can finally say I’m officially single now.”  However, he emphasized that the breakup was a peaceful one without any resentment.
