“Train To Busan” Actor Offer Hollywood Role By Marvel Studios
If you watched Ma Dong Seok beat zombies with his bare hands in Train to Busan, maybe you saw this one coming.
It was confirmed earlier this week that Marvel has reached out to Ma Dong Seok regarding a possible role in an unspecified project.
But this isn’t the first time Ma Dong Seok is getting attention from international production companies.
After the success of Train to Busan at Cannes, he’s received several offers for American movies and television.
“Sometimes American production companies contact me. There were offers for movies and television.
I have a few movies I’m working on right now, and, recently, the timing wasn’t right because I was filming ‘The Bros’ and ‘The Outlaws’.”

If Ma Dong Seok were to work in Hollywood, his physique, size, and proficiency with English would set him apart from many Asian actors.
And hopefully, there will soon be a Marvel feature with Ma Dong Seok’s signature stare-down!
