Here Are 10 Animated Characters NCT’s Taeyong Resembles So Much He Could Play Them In Live-Action

He could easily pull any of these looks off.

NCT‘s Taeyong is not exactly the first K-Pop idol to be compared to an anime characater, as even NCT’s own Jungwoo was said to look like  Inumaki Toge from Jujutsu Kaisen during NCT 127‘s Sticker comeback. But Taeyong has also pulled off many incredible looks that are truly unreal, and NCTzens believe many of them happen to look exactly like certain animated characters!

Here are 10 animated characters that NCTzens think Taeyong resembles, and that he could therefore totally play in live-action.

1. Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia

Taeyong’s look in SuperM‘s “100” bore a striking resemblance to Todoroki due to the white and red hair.

2. Jack Frost from Rise Of The Guardians

Taeyong dressed up as Jack Frost for Halloween, and fans haven’t been able to unsee the resemblance since.

3.  Syaoran Li from Cardcaptor Sakura

He also dressed up as Syaoran Li, and he definitely nailed it!

4. Sakata Gintoki from Gintama

NCT 127’s “Kick It” gave us one of Taeyong’s most iconic looks, which just so happens to look like Sakata Gintoki.

5. Shigino Kisumi from Free!

This was a memorable look for Taeyong, with his pink hair and loose shirt and tie making him strongly resemble the character of Kisumi from Free!

6. Kirikaya Kazuto from Sword Art Online

The dark hair and dark shirt that Taeyong is wearing in this image make him look quite a bit like Kazuto from Sword Art Online.

7. Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail

Taeyong’s messy pink hair in “Cherry Bomb” also looked very similar to Natsu’s in Fairy Tail.

8. Kakashi Hatake from Naruto

Fans did not miss how Taeyong once rocked a look that is reminiscent of Naruto‘s Kakashi.

9. Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul

Taeyong’s dark hair made him look very similar to Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul

…as did his white hair and face mask!

10. Killua Zoldyck from Hunter X Hunter

While Taeyong’s white hair look has more often been compared to Jack Frost, there is definitely some resemblance to the character of Killua here!
