This drama is a remake of the popular U.S drama series Suits starring actors Jang Dong Gun and Park Hyung Sik. It is a drama about a distinguished and reputable corporate lawyer recruiting a young hot-headed genius to work for his law firm as a lawyer- the only thing is he doesn’t have a law degree!

 

2. Mr. Sunshine (tvN)

Mr. Sunshine is a drama starring Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri. The drama surrounds the story of a young boy who travels to the United States during the 1871 Shinmiyangyo (U.S. expedition to Korea) and returns to his homeland later as an American soldier. He meets and falls in love with an aristocrat’s daughter.

Starring Seo Kang Joon and Gong Seung Yeon, there has been much buzz surrounding the drama Are You Human Too? because of the budget that was spent on the drama– 10 billion won! The drama is about a son whose family runs a large tech company. After an unexpected accident, he falls into a coma, only to be recreated as an android by his own mother!

Life is an upcoming drama series starring Lee Dong Wook and Jo Seung Woo. It is a medical drama that takes place at the emergency medical center of a university. Lee Dong Wook is a specialist at the hospital and Jo Seung Woo is the director– the two are involved in political issues that surround the hospital.

Starring Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In, Something In The Rain is a love story about an older noona and her friend’s dongsaeng. Son Ye Jin is a single woman in her 30’s that works as a supervisor at a coffee company. She unexpectedly falls in love with her friend’s younger brother, Jung Hae In, and the two explore the relationship as they go from being just acquaintances to a genuine couple.

Sketch, starring Rain and Lee Dong Gun, is a crime thriller drama about an ace detective armed with excellent intuition and a special operations command who seeks revenge for the death of his wife. It is a drama that revolves around the fate and love of people who are fighting to change their destinies.

Starring EXO‘s Suho and Ha Yeon Soo, Rich Man is a remake of the Japanese drama Rich Man, Poor Woman. Suho is an arrogant CEO of an IT company that is rich and highly desirable- the only catch is, he has a disease where he is unable to recognize faces!

Why Secretary Kim, starring Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young is a drama based off of a popular webtoon based on Jung Kyun Yoon’s original novel. Park Seo Jun is a CEO of a large company and his secretary Park Min Young has been with him in the good times and the bad – serving as his personal aide, chauffer, and go-to-person for 9 years! Suddenly, she decides to quit, and Park Seo Joon begins to realize how important she was to him.

Clean Passionately is a drama adaption of the popular romantic comedy webtoon First, Clean Passionately. It is about a story of a handsome, well-established man, Ahn Hyo Seop, who has a fear of germs and runs a cleaning company. Kingdom, starring Ju Ji Hoon, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Bae Doona, is a drama series set during Korea’s medieval Joseon era. It is not your typical historical drama as this one is about…zombies! The story is about a crown prince who is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious outbreak that is plaguing the country.
