1. Suzy

Suzy trained 6 months with JYP Entertainment before debuting with miss A. She was discovered while looking for a bathroom. Suzy is now a solo artist and actress.


2. EXO’s Baekhyun

EXO‘s Baekhyun trained for around 7-8 months. He was discovered while practicing for his college entrance test, which he decided to take after failing an audition.


3. Goo Hara

Goo Hara trained 3 months before debuting with KARA. She was going to debut with RAINBOW at first, but as KARA lost a member and held auditions for a new face, Goo Hara passed and joined the group.


4. Apink’s Eunji

Apink‘s Eunji trained for 2 months before debuting with Apink. She auditioned, after her vocal training school recommended that she try, and passed. She was added last minute to Apink, which was on the brink of debuting.

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun trained for 3 months with SM Entertainment before being added to the group. He was chosen to back up the group’s vocals.


6. HA:TFELT (Yeeun)

Wonder GirlsYeeun did not have a training period, because she passed the JYP Entertainment‘s audition for selecting Wonder Girls members. She was able to join the team and debut right away. She is now a solo artist under the name HA:TFELT.


7. VIXX’s Hyuk

VIXX‘s Hyuk did not have a training period, as he competed in the reality show MyDOL that was created for producing a new boy group. Hyuk was selected as a finalst on the show and, soon thereafter, debuted with VIXX.

GOT7‘s Youngjae trained 8 months before debuting as the main vocalist for the group. Youngjae has shared that he focused a lot more on practicing dancing while he trained because he didn’t have a lot of experience.
