It’s no secret that many K-Pop idols debut at a young age, as plenty of idols debut before they even graduate high school. There are also plenty of idols who happened to get revealed to the public years for their official debut. Here’s a list of a few of these idols.

The first time these two appeared on television was when they were contestants on K-Pop Star 3, which aired from 2013-2014. At the time, Chaeyeon was 14 years old, and Chaeryeong was 12 years old.

2. Bang Yedam (TREASURE)

Bang Yedam first made headlines when he was a contestant on K-Pop Star 2, which aired from 2012-2013. At the time, Yedam was only 11 years old.

3. AKMU

AKMU caught the attention of many when they appeared on K-Pop Star 2. At the time, Chanhyuk was 16 years old, while Suhyun was 13 years old.

4. Eunha (GFRIEND)

Before her debut as a member of GFRIEND, Eunha was a child actress. She made her debut as a child actress in the 2007 K-Drama The Clinic for Married Couples: Love and War, and was just 10 years old.

Somi first appeared on television in 2013 on the program Let’s Go! Dream Team Season 2, when she was just 12 years old.

Dohyon first appeared in the front of the public when he was a contestant on the show Under 19. During the time, Dohyon was only 13 years old.

Before his debut with ASTRO, Moonbin was a child actor. His most memorable role was when he was a child actor for the K-Drama Boys Over Flowers. When he was a cast member on the show, Moonbin was only 11 years old.

In 2006, when Jennie was living in New Zealand, she was a part of an MBC Special Documentary. At the time, Jennie was just 10 years old.
