These 3 K-Pop Groups Have Individually Taken Up All 10 Places In The Top 10 Spots On The K-Pop Hot 100 Chart During Their Careers

These groups just can’t be stopped.

The K-Pop Hot 100 chart is a weekly music singles chart based in South Korea, and launched in August of 2011. The songs that make it onto the list are based off of digital sales and downloads, and works similarly to how Billboard ranks songs in the United States on their Hot 100 chart as well. It’s an impressive feat to make it into the top 10 spots on this list with one song, let alone multiple ones at a time. And yet, three different groups have not only had multiple songs in the top 10 spots at one time, but have actually filled all 10 spots at once in a given week, which is ridiculously impressive! Here are the 3 popular K-Pop acts that have accomplished this.

1. Wanna One

Wanna One has actually accomplished this feat not once, but twice, and is the only artist to do so! The first time was during the week of November 26, 2017, around the release of their repackaged album 1×1=1 (To Be One). The ten songs that reached the top 10 placement on the K-Pop Hot 100 chart are as follows:

“Beautiful” at #1
“Wanna” at #2
“Twilight” at #3
“Nothing Without You (Intro.)” at #4
“Energetic (Prequel Remix)” at #5
“To Be One (Outro.)” at #6
“Burn It Up (Prequel Remix)” at #7
“Wanna Be (My Baby)” at #8
“Energetic” at #9
“Burn It Up” at #10

The second time they accomplished this was for the week of December 1, 2018, after their album 1¹¹=1 (Power of Destiny) came out. Incredibly, another ten songs rose to the top 10 spots on the chart, with these placements:

“Spring Breeze” at #1
“One’s Place” at #2
“Flowerbomb” at #3
“One Love” at #4
“Hide and Seek” at #5
“Deeper” at #6
“Beautiful (Part II)” at #7
“Awake” at #8
“Pine Tree” at #9
“Destiny (Intro)” at #10

2. EXO

EXO is certainly a powerhouse in the K-Pop industry, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that they made it onto this list. They accomplished the feat of filling all top 10 spots on the K-Pop Hot 100 chart on the week of November 10, 2018, soon after they released their Don’t Mess Up My Tempo album. The songs that made the top 10 spots are the following:

“Tempo” at #1
“Ooh La La La” at #2
“Gravity” at #3
“Sign” at #4
“24/7” at #5
“With You” at #6
“Smile On My Face” at #7
“Bad Dream” at #8
“Oasis” at #9
“Damage” at #10

3. BTS

Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without BTS! The group has accomplished this milestone once, during the week of May 28, 2018. This coincided with their album Love Yourself: Tear, as can be seen by the songs that made up the top 10 places on the K-Pop Hot 100 chart that week:

“Fake Love” at #1
“The Truth Untold” at #2
“Paradise” at #3
“134340” at #4
“Love Maze” at #5
“Magic Shop” at #6
“Anpanman” at #7
“Airplane pt.2” at #8
“So What” at #9
“Intro: Singularity” at #10

EXO and BTS have also had another 9 songs in the top 10 spots during one week on the K-Pop Hot 100 chart, which is a huge accomplishment as well! EXO reached this milestone during the week of July 30, 2017 with the release of the album The War, and BTS accomplished the same during the week of October 1, 2017 after their Love Yourself: Her album came out. These groups really know how to break the music industry!
