Some K-Pop idols debut multiple times for many reasons, such as the debut not being successful, different music directions, personal life, etc. Some idols even debut in multiple groups throughout their careers, so here are 4 idols who have debuted in more than 2 groups in their careers.
1. Somin (K.A.R.D)
Somin originally debuted in the group PURETTY in 2012, but the group disbanded a few years after their debut.
Somin then debuted as a member of APRIL, but she left the group a few months after their debut.
She finally debuted as a member of K.A.R.D and has remained in the group since their debut.
2. Chaekyung (April)
Chaekyung originally debuted as a member of PURETTY, but the group disbanded quickly.
Chaekyung then debuted as a member of the project girl group C.I.V.A.
Chaekyung then debuted as a member of I.B.I, but the group disbanded around 1 year after their debut.
Chaekyung then debuted as a member of April, where she has remained a member.
HyunA originally debuted as a member of Wonder Girls, but soon left the group and company after the group’s debut.
HyunA then debuted as a member of 4Minute, which is where she gained most of her popularity and where she built her name.
HyunA also debuted as a member of the duo Trouble Maker while she was a member of 4Minute. Trouble Maker debuted in 2011 and disbanded in 2018 once HyunA ended her contract with Cube Entertainment.
HyunA also debuted in the group Triple H in 2017 with Dawn and Hui (PENTAGON). Triple H effectively disbanded once Dawn and HyunA departed from Cube Entertainment in 2018.
4. Kim Sohee (Nature)
Kim So Hee originally debuted for the project group C.I.V.A.
Kim So Hee then debuted for another project group, which was I.B.I. The group disbanded nearly 1 year after their debut.
Kim So Hee then debuted for Girls Next Door, which was a group formed by the show Idol Drama Operation Team.
Kim So Hee is now a part of the girl group Nature.
