6 K-Pop Groups Rank In The Top 20 Of IFPI’s Global Album Chart

Two groups had more than one album make the list!

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry is an organization that represents the recording industry worldwide. Each year, the IFPI shares several global charts, including the Global Artist Chart and the Global Albums Chart — the latter representing album performance on all platforms, including streaming.

Here are all the K-Pop groups that made the Top 20 of the Global Album Chart for 2022!

1. TXT — minisode 2: Thursday’s Child

TXT‘s fourth mini album, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child ranked 16 in this chart.

2. ENHYPEN — MANIFESTO: DAY 1

MANIFESTO: DAY 1 is ENHYPEN‘s third mini album, ranked #11 on the Global Album Chart!

3. BLACKPINK — BORN PINK

BORN PINK, an album selected by Billboard as one of the best albums of 2022, came in at number eight on this list.

4. SEVENTEEN — SECTOR 17, Face The Sun

SEVENTEEN were one of two groups to have two albums make it into this chart. First, SECTOR 17 ranked 18 on this list, while Face The Sun ranked number 7.

5. Stray Kids — ODDINARY, MAXIDENT

Stray Kids also had two entries on this list: ODDINARY came in at number 14, while MAXIDENT ranked at number 6.

6. BTS — Proof

BTS were the highest-ranking K-Pop group on this list, with their first anthology album, Proof. The album came in at number 4, just under massive worldwide acts Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and Bad Bunny.
